After losing the World Cup semi-final match against France with two goals against no response, Ashraf Hakimi, the star of the Moroccan national team and a player for Paris Saint-Germain, sent an emotional message to the Moroccan fans. This was a historic moment for Morocco in the World Cup as they reached this crucial stage.

Hakimi wrote on his Twitter account, "We spared no effort to realize the dream of this squad, the Moroccans, and everyone who supported us. The dream ended at the semi-finals, but we can only be happy of what we have achieved in this World Cup."
